🍫✨ Toasted Marshmallow Special K-Bars — Sweet, Salty & Totally Addictive ✨🍫

There’s something magical about desserts that blend sweet, salty, gooey, and crunchy in one bite. These Toasted Marshmallow Special K-Bars taste just like childhood nostalgia—but with a grown-up twist. Imagine creamy peanut butter meeting melted chocolate and golden marshmallows in one glorious, chewy bar. Yep, they’re every bit as irresistible as they sound.

🧈 Ingredients

  • ½ cup salted butter, room temperature
  • bag mini marshmallows (for melting)
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 5 cups corn flakes or Rice Krispies cereal
  • 2 cups regular marshmallows (for toasting)
  • 20 oz semi-sweet or dark chocolate, melted
  • Flaky sea salt (optional, but highly recommended)

🔥 Instructions

1. Melt & Mix the Base
In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until smooth and gooey. Turn off the heat and mix in the peanut butter until combined.

2. Add the Crunch
Fold in the corn flakes or Rice Krispies. Stir until every piece is lightly coated in that glossy, peanut-buttery magic.

3. Press the Layer
Press the mixture firmly into a parchment-lined 9x13 pan. Don’t worry about perfection—rustic edges only make them look more delicious.

4. Toast & Top
Scatter the regular marshmallows evenly over the top. Toast them lightly using a kitchen torch or pop the pan under a broiler for a few seconds until golden brown.

5. Melted Chocolate Drizzle
Pour the melted chocolate over the toasted marshmallows and spread evenly. Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top for that chef’s kiss balance of sweet and savory.

6. Cool & Slice
Let the bars set completely (refrigerate for 30–45 minutes if you're impatient) before cutting into squares.

🍴 Tips & Twists

  • Swap dark chocolate for milk or white chocolate for a tweak in flavor.
  • Add pretzel bits or chopped peanuts for extra crunch.
  • Serve chilled for a firm bite or slightly warm for extra gooeyness.
