🍂 Frosted Brown Butter Snickerdoodle Blondies 🍂

 




Soft, chewy, and loaded with cinnamon sugar goodness! These frosted blondies are the ultimate fall treat  gooey centers, crisp edges, and an irresistible apple cider frosting. Perfect for cozy weekends or Halloween parties! 🎃👻


🌀 The Cinnamon Swirl

  • 2 tbsp salted butter, melted

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour

Mix together until smooth and set aside.


🍪 For the Blondie Bars

  • 1 ½ sticks salted butter, melted and lightly browned

  • ½ cup brown sugar

  • 3 eggs, room temperature

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ¼ tsp baking soda

  • ½ tsp sea salt

Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8x8 pan.
2️⃣ Whisk browned butter and brown sugar until combined.
3️⃣ Add eggs and vanilla; mix well.
4️⃣ Stir in flour, baking powder, soda, and salt until smooth.
5️⃣ Pour half the batter into the pan, swirl in half the cinnamon mixture. Add the rest and top with remaining swirl.
6️⃣ Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set. Cool before frosting.


🍏 Frosting

  • ⅓ cup spiced apple cider (no added sugar)

  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Whisk together until creamy. Spread over cooled bars.
